What are the office hours and where is the office located?

Our office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.  Eastern Illinois Properties is located on the historical town square at 622 Jackson Avenue, Charleston, IL.   We have an office on the second floor of the building.  If you wish to speak with a team member feel free to visit us during normal business hours. 

Are pets allowed?

Pets will need to be approved.  Once approved, there will be an additional pet lease, as well as pet rent and a pet security deposit.

Who do I contact about hooking up utilities?

Upon signing a lease, you will be asked to sign a form for Electric, Water, and Cable/Internet services. Our office staff will make sure the utilities are on and ready as of the beginning date on your lease.  If there are any problems with your utilities, please don't hesistate to contact us and we will take care of the issue.

Can I move in earlier than the start date on my lease?

Please realize, before you move in, our maintenance crew needs to do a thorough inspection and complete repairs of the property prior to your lease start date.  Depending on the condition and move out date of the previous tenants, there may be a possibility of moving in early. 

What furniture do you provide at the properties?

Our properties will include kitchen table with chairs, couches, televisions, dressers, and bed frames with mattresses.

What is included in the "All Inclusive" cost?

"All Inclusive" includes rent, electric, gas, water, cable, internet, trash pickup, and lawn care.

Upon signing a lease, when will the deposit need to be paid?

Once the lease has been signed, we allow up to 30 days to receive the security deposit.  After 30 days, we will assess late fees.
